TRAINING COURSES - WELFARE REFORM

We are arranging two types of training on the government's welfare reforms in 2013.

1) introduction and overview courses for workers in the voluntary and public sector who are not advice workers.

2) Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment courses for experienced advice workers in advice services that have the Advice Quality Standard or SQM.

Welfare Reform Overview training - for non-advice workers

Voluntary and community sector organisations: we have two free training dates in April and May for people working in VCS organisations in Bradford District. Click here for a course flyer and booking form.

These courses will run from 9.30 till 1.00 and take place at Cavell House, near Bradford city centre. They will be held on: April 30 and May 14.

If demand is high we reserve the right to limit the number of people attending from the same organisation.

Public sector organisations: we are working with Bradford Council to co-ordinate which staff will have access to these training courses. Bradford Council is also developing an e-learning module for people who cannot attend face to face training. Ask your team leader / manager for further information.

Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment training - for experienced advisers in AQS or SQM accredited advice services

These courses will be free and take place at Cavell House, near Bradford city centre. They will run from 9.45 till 3.30 - for course dates, please see the flyers.
